Koula Studios(Apartments in Kalamaki) |
| 8/10 | |
Just spent a week in these apartments, had a 2 bedroomed apartment with air cond in both bedrooms. Plenty of space in both rooms each having its own balcony, also a back balcony with sea view!
Apartments were very quiet, eventhough we had a road view apartment noise was never a problem. Cleaned bout twice a week. Nearest pool was a 2 or 5 minute walk away. Antonis pool is great, is an easy 5 minute walk. Daisy s pool and apartments are about 2 minutes away and nice 2. Beach is about 10 min max of a walk. Shops and very good restaurants all between a 5 and 10 minute walk away. Koula the owner does not speak english but will give u any help she can. Had a great stay there and will definitely go back!

they have now everything you needd inside and outside the apts, they got even kitchen so you can cook if you want.
outside the garden is more beautifull and maybe [if you have visited koulastudios and you know how it is like] they will open a bar and a big pool.

| I thought Koula Studios was a lovely place to stay, we had a nice little balconey and it really felt like home (for a week anyway!) The best part about it is the fact its close to everything you need. The brilliant nightlife is only a short walk away , yet its still nice and quiet when your ready to hit the sack! I couldnt get used to the strange shower though, it was annoying having to keep mopping the floor after! | ||||||||||

| Just returned from a week staying at the Koula. Very nice but basic Apartments, towels and Linen were changed once a week but toilet bin emptied every other day(phew!) Never saw the rep once but thats not necessarily a bad thing. Nice location but only downside is the noise factor, our balcony was at the front, so traffic noise was a constant problem, also prepare to be woken by barking dogs and cockrels at unearthly hours of the morning! | ||||||||||

| Spent one week in Koula, end of July 2003. Very basic, but clean, quiet and quite central for bars and restaurants. Two excellent pools nearby, Daisy's and our favourite the Meandros Hotel. All the restaurants are quite similar, but never had a bad meal yet, also we found them quite cheap. Check out the restaurant directly opposite Koula to start with. Only a 10 min walk to the beach, but 20 mins back over when your drunk!!! If your after a quiet lazy week in the sun then Kalimaki is ideal. Only complaint is the tiny airport which is chaotic when arriving but even worse when departing!! | ||||||||||

| Very basic but clean,a good location for getting around the island, so if you want it relaxed it's perfect. Give Daisy's a try for breakfast and a swim, and say hello to Andrea, Peter and Dennis. In the evening you must eat at the Paris Restuarant. Rob& Wendy 1st-15th June 2003. How hot..meltdown time | ||||||||||

| Don't ask me why this is a great place, it just is. I have noted the whinges of some entries but hey this is Greece. One great reason is it is next to the Daisy and guests from koulas are made to feel welcome, another is the Chaos Bar across the road ran by Spyros and they are all friendly genuine people. Some of koulas d.i.y leaves a lot to be desired, but i find this part of the charm. As for reps who needs them the less i see of them the better and that is what you got at Koulas, left alone, great! I must love it as i am travelling down from Durham, my brothers and sister are travelling down from Northumberland, all the way to Manchester, just so we can go back to Koulas. Mad or sad i don't really care i know i will have a relaxing fun holiday. | ||||||||||

| What a dump!!! Apartment wasn't clean. The old woman who ran the place stole all my washing pegs from the line & to top it all they diddled us out money to keep the room an extra day & then told us to get out. Tour rep was the cheekiest most unhelpful person i've ever came across. Will post pictures of the room and broken toilet bowl soon. Just to show I'm not lying. If you do have the unfortunate pleasure of staying at this place complain to the tour rep to move you straight away. We did however, find a really good greek restaurant (Michaelo's). turn left outside the apartments up hill for about 5mins. | ||||||||||

| Good apts, very basic which is normal for Greece. Located just on a bend so watch your kids when coming out of the apts. Apts quite spacious with sep bedrooms which was good. The only downside was the bathroom/toilet which was tiny with a 2 foot bath and hand held shower, not great for two weeks. Full use of facilities at Daisey studios next door. Excellent pool with waterfall and slide. Best bit is its facing the chaos bar which is best family bar in Zante. | ||||||||||
